Changes

Good afternoon! I am missing you all so much! I just wanted to take a minute to update everyone on the changes occuring and how its all coming along :)

1) No more fan page for now...I closed the fan page for comments and am not going to be using it for the next few months at least. When it is open I can gaurentee it is going to be BIGGER and BETTER then ever!

2) Yes it seams there is a lot of bad messages going around about me, BUT you have to remember that just because someone feels they were wronged doesnt mean they were. Everyone has their own point of view and I respect that. Just keep in mind there are two sides to every story and that in most cases the people emailing my customers are not even the ones that felt they were wronged they get their family and friends to make outragous posts as well so it seems a lot worse then it was.

3) Please remember I am a mom just like most of you. I started doing this so everyone could afford it. I did not make thousands of dollars selling bows and tutus. Yes I have sold that much but how much you sell and how much you make are two very different numbers. If I was out to make big bucks I would not be selling $80 gift cards for $40, selling most items at my cost, and giving away so much in donations and giveaways. People forget that when I offer things like this I am offering those items with the cost coming out of my own pocket, if anyone really thinks I make money like that then they need to head out into the real world and do some shopping.

4) If you email me with an attitude and try and qoute any of these people that have given me problems it will not be tolerated. I will either a. ignore you or b. give an attitude back. YOU who do this are part of the reason why I am closing the page. Threatening me and my business is not going to get you your $3 bow any faster. The behavior of adult women has come to completly shock me.

5) Ready to ship items will start becoming available on my website & personal facebook page starting on July 15th :) Halloween and back to school will start appearing at this time as well. When I do open the page it will be ready to ship only! I will post items you purcahse & pay for them that night and they ship the next day. I am no longer going to offer customs due to the amount of times the order changes or is added onto or whatever other mix ups that can happen do. Every person who has had a problem with me it was always something that I stated on the page that was not followed.

6) I hope everyone has a great summer! We are heading to the Florida pan handle for vacation where we will also be helping with some of the oil spill clean up. Our annual beach destination was hit pretty bad :(

  3. Girl, you won't be far from me when you visit. I'm on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

    I think you should do whatever you need to in order to have a little peace. Ready to ship items sounds like a good idea. :D

  4. I was relatively new to your FB page when all of this mess occurred and I just want to say that I'm sorry you're going through this. It really is unfortunate when women band together to gang up on another. Hope your daughter is doing well and I can't wait to order items from your site when it's up and running. : )

  5. I think you will find ready made items allot less stressful in the end!! I know when I am doing custom orders it seems like those ordrs are always on my mind until I get them done. Then I start to feel guilty if they did not get done until the end of the 7 - 10 days I state it might take. So good for you in the changes you are making and I think your prices are awesome and your products are beautiful so stick with it!!

  6. I am sorry. I don't follow every fb page that I'm a fan of. I just don't have time. I have had to 'weed' through them. I don't have a little girl, so I am sure that you've been hidden. So, I have no idea what is going on. What I do know is that I too have found woman can be very hateful! I stopped posting too much because of it. Luckily my blog has been spared from having 'the mean ones' around.
    I am considering getting a web page, and losing the etsy (over time). I am such a place in life that orders are very hard on me right now, and sometimes these order people have no understanding that we do have a life and don't work 24/7. I will be removing any 'custom order' quilts from my shop until after Christmas!

  7. Hello all. First of all I want to say that I have made 2 orders from Claire's bowtique. Both of them were completely wrong and I had to beg and file a paypal claim to get them. I have spent a total of 52.00 with Amiee and it was a complete waste of money. Please check her out on ripoffreport.com. There are so many people out there with claims against her. She even has an FBI investigating her actions. I tried to be nice and talk to her about my orders, in the end she ended up blaming her screw-ups on me and lying about shipping times. Very sad and CRAZY woman. Please check out this link, she has been named on the boycott scammers list on FB.   8. I'm very sad to say that I was one of the people who saw that you were going through all these problems with customers but decided to take your word for it and do business with you. As a fellow small business owner I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt. I wish I hadn't. I ordered two tutus on September 30th, 2010 and as of today December 10th, 2010 I still have not received them. I have tried emailing you multiple times, requested tracking numbers, requested a refund and have only received 2 emails back from you one sentence each that have given me no answers.

    I wish that I had filed a paypal complaint within the 45 days but I didn't because I wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt as a fellow WAHM. I wish I hadn't.

    Please ladies there are so many handmade artisans out there who don't have this kind of drama following them around. Quality sellers who would do anything to make sure that each and every one of their customers is 100% happy. Some people may get their orders and be happy with their purchases but obviously there are many out there who are in the same boat as I am. A google search will quickly show you that there are many wronged Claire's Bowtique buyers out there.

    If you do decide to place an order with Claire's Bowtique and do not have it within 2 weeks I urge you to file a Paypal Claim immediately. Learn from my mistake.

    I still hope that this can be set right. Please refund my money.
